We offer an individually-tailored service in a ‘home from home’ with kind, compassionate residential, nursing, dementia, respite and end-of-life care.
At the heart of our approach to care is the warm, respectful connection between our staff and every single resident. It’s what we mean by ‘person-centred care’ – taking into account the individual wishes, characters and histories of everyone we look after.
Many of our residents have complex needs including dementia, Parkinson’s’ Disease and arthritis. Around one in ten is aged 100 or more. Whatever their situation, residents enjoy a stimulating and dignified environment where they are treated as an individual.
We have one of the largest in-house therapy teams of any care home in the UK, made up of skilled occupational therapists, physiotherapists and a moving and handling advisor. On arrival, each resident is carefully assessed by our therapy team to make sure they get exactly the support they need to maximise their potential and well-being.
Each unit has its own holistic activity programme specially designed to meet the needs of residents, including baking, pottery, textiles, talks, shopping trips, pet therapy, arts and crafts, drama therapy, bridge, concerts, poetry, outings, gardening club, birthday parties.

In order to allow residents to enjoy uninterrupted mealtimes and for staff to carry out important medications rounds, please avoid calling the units at certain times when staff are at their busiest. The preferred times to call are between 10.00am and 12.00noon; between 1.30pm and 5.30pm; or after 7.30pm but before 9.00pm. Thank you for your co-operation.
Our fees range from Residential Permanent to Respite with Nursing Dementia. Download a copy of our current fees, correct as at July 2017.
