Nightingale Hammerson is greatly dependent on the generosity of its friends. An important part of our charitable income comes from legacies. Many people find it difficult to think about what will happen when they die. Others are unable to give significant sums to our Charity during their lifetime but may be in a position to remember us in their will.
Obviously one of the most important things that one can do is to ensure that your will is up to date. This need not be either a complicated or an expensive process. The reality is that making a will is simple and easy to arrange. If you do not have a solicitor and would like a list of solicitors who may be able to help, do please let me know.
Gifts to charities are also Inheritance Tax free. Therefore leaving a gift to Nightingale Hammerson could consequently reduce the tax payable on your estate.
Please don’t delay, make your will today!
